About Course

In a warehouse, each employee has his or her own job to do. The material handler is responsible for moving the pallets from one location to another in order to keep the warehouse stocked and ready for shipment. The picker pulls items from storage bins and prepares them for shipping. In some cases, the worker may have other duties such as cleaning or other activities which should be considered secondary to the main task, but are still important.

The material handler is responsible for moving large items around the warehouse in order to keep storage areas open and available for other workers, as well as making sure that products are where they belong so that they can be successfully retrieved if needed.

This means that handling equipment needs to be kept in good repair and that all employees need to be aware of the best ways to avoid injury while moving stock, as well as how to set up their workstations to do so.
